Spool case
How to use a spool case.
Spool wells
Internal compartments hold multiple fishing line spools securely in place.
Lid
Clear cover protects stored leader lines from dust and moisture.
Zip or latch
Secure mechanical clasp keeps the case tightly sealed during transport.
Line-out ports
Small notches allow pulling line directly from spools without opening the case.
What is a spool case used for?
A spool case holds spare main-line spools so braid and fluoro do not unroll in the bag.
How is a spool case different from similar gear?
For line spools, not a reel case. You swap spools on the reel, not whole reels.
When should you use a spool case?
Carry it when the day might switch from braid spinning to fluoro or a heavier shock.
What problems does a spool case solve?
It keeps spare line round and labelled instead of nested like a spring in the boot.
