What is a spomb used for?
A spomb is a hinged bait rocket that stays shut in the air and opens on impact so the load dumps in a pile.
How is a spomb different from similar gear?
Sealed clamshell, not an open spod. Cleaner flight with wet mix; almost no spill until it hits the water.
When should you use a spomb?
Fish it when you want a tighter pile of feed than a spod, especially with sloppy or mixed bait.
What problems does a spomb solve?
It delivers a payload that would slop out of an open spod on the cast.
