Borgarfjörður is a fjord in western Iceland near Borgarnes. The fjord has significant undercurrents and shallows, with water temperatures ranging from 2.5 °C in February to 11.8 °C in July. Sea trout peak from June to August on the fly or spinning, while Atlantic salmon are best targeted from May to July using fly fishing or spinning.
