Fused PE body
Thermally fused polyethylene fibers provide incredible strength and zero stretch.
Thin diameter
Reduced profile cuts through water efficiently and allows greater spool capacity.
Smooth coating
Outer layer minimizes friction through guides for exceptionally long casts.
What fish can you catch with a fused line?
What is a fused line used for?
Fused fishing line is thermally bonded polyethylene, in the FireLine style: thin and almost stretch-free, but not a woven braid.
How is a fused line different from similar gear?
The fused surface takes scrapes around rock and mussels better than typical braid. It is a little thicker and stiffer, and not as limp as an eight-strand weave.
When should you use a fused line?
Pick it for spinning, jigging, and surf work around mussels, timber, or riprap where braid frays and you still want a thin superline.
What problems does a fused line solve?
It keeps a sensitive main on the spool when the water is too rough on standard braid.
